Update: Where Have I Been?

I haven't posted in 3 weeks!!! I have no excuses other than I have been very tired after work recently, and I have had a lot of college work to do, therefore I am just rubbish. I am going to try and be better from now on! I've decided to do a little update so you know what I've been up to. First of all, I am very happy to say that in August Richard and I will be moving in together! I am so excited, we have our flat already and it's going to be such an exciting time, and a new chapter in my life! It's still in Nottingham, and it's not that far from my mums if I feel like I need to go home or anything, but I really can not wait!

Another thing that has happened is that I no longer have a weave! I took it out nearly two months ago and I considered getting it put back in but I decided I'd keep it short and let it grow itself, and I've had my fringe cut back in, and I'm very happy with how it looks!

Since this photo I have had my fringe cut slightly shorter, but I'm loving having shorter hair at the moment, and it is still long enough to tie up if I want to!

You can expect to see quite a few household wishlists coming up soon, as I am currently compiling one for each room, and we are saving up so hopefully Richard has the same ideas as me for decor!

I promise to be better at posting from now on (well I'll try anyway)

Thanks for reading!

January Favourites 2015!

We're now into February, and you know what that means... January favourites! I've got a fair few to get through this month so I'm just going to jump straight in.

Bit of a random one, Colgate Max White One toothpaste and mouthwash. I HATE the taste of toothpaste usually, and dread brushing my teeth, however, these two don't taste too bad and I can just about cope with them!
Next up is the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation. I've ran out of my trust Collection Lasting Perfection and I'm trying to save money so I'm using what I've got for the time being, and I've rekindled my love for this! I find it works so well the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.
I have to talk about my Tangle Teezer again! It is the only brush I'll use on my hair now. It makes my hair so soft and tangle free, and I often get Richard to brush my hair for me too, and it doesn't pull when he uses this!
I have used this concealer since I was 15 and I will never use anything else, and no one can convince me otherwise! It lasts so well on my skin and covers up all my blemishes and dark circles. Some days I don't even wear foundation, just this and powder.
I don't think I could ever rave about this enough! It's one of the Rimmel Provocalips, and it is my perfect nude colour. I put it on in the morning before I leave for work and when I get home from work it is still perfectly in place! It is just incredible, and it's hard to get wrong.
If you read my What I Got For Christmas post, you'll know I got the Naked palette, and I very quickly fell in love. It's perfect for a nude eye, a smokey eye, everything!
My final makeup item is my very filthy Beauty UK High Brow eyebrow kit. I use the bottom left shade, and it is a perfect match for me. Anything that makes my eyebrows visible is a bonus!
Two favourites in one, this cute Frozen mug. It's the perfect size for me, and the second is black tea. I've stopped drinking milk lately, as it was making me a little queasy and I've never felt better. I have black tea with 1 or 2 sweeteners in depending on my mood and I really enjoy it (and it feels a lot healthier too).
I love pugs so much, and Richard's parents got me the most adorable pug travel makeup bag for Christmas! I use it when I stay at his 3 times a week, and I take the matching tote bag which I received for my birthday last year from my mum (which they didn't even know I had so they did well).
I put these in a recent Primark haul and I have literally worn them every single day! They go with all my clothes and are so comfortable. We've had a little snow this week and they have brilliant grip so I've not slipped at all, and they're fur lined so they're super cosy, too.
Also in the Primark haul I included this top, and I have worn it so much for work, with black jeans, the boots and a big chunky cardigan. It looks really nice with a cute chunky necklace, too.
How could I not mention this bag? It is my favourite bag EVER. I am so glad I bought it, it fits everything I need in, and it just looks so smart and stylish and I'm just in love and it was only £10 or £12, I can't quite remember.
Before I discovered this about a year ago, I used face wipes and my face never felt clean! Since finding this I have never looked back! It makes my skin feel so clean and refreshed.

It's been a long time since I've read a good book! I found my Kindle charger so I decided that it'd be the perfect time to try and get back into reading, as all I do in the evenings at the moment is watch tv, watch Bones with Richard, or watch Youtube. My mum logged her account on and I suddenly have about 100 new books to read so I'm really excited to get back into it. I'm currently re-reading the Spider Shepherd series and it's even better than the first time because you get all the hidden stuff the second time around! I hope they make this into a tv show, it'll be our new obsession when we're caught up with Bones (we're about to start season 9 on Tuesday, which I THINK I may have already seen some of) but I'm so excited, we've watch three episodes today!

Anyway, before I continue my ramble about Bones, I shall leave.

Thank you for reading and I hope to see you all again soon!
